We are happy to announce that soon a Patient Portal will be launched for the added convenience of our patients.  We are about to begin a Beta Testing process. Please make sure we have your email address the next time you are in the office so that we can give you access to the patient portal as soon as it is officially launched. Soon when you check in for a visit we will be asking for your email address, to enable your patient portal access.

Vaccines available at the office of Linda Carney MD

Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) Vaccine

• Every 10 years, 1 dose

Meningococcal Vaccine

• For adolescents, 1 dose

HPV Vaccine

• For girls aged 9-26 year olds, 3 doses

Pneumococcal Vaccine

• For protection against 23 types of pneumococcal bacteria, 1 dose

Influenza (Flu) Vaccine

• We have flu vaccines now for flu A and B.  We also expect H1N1 vaccines by October, 2009.

TB Skin Tests

• Come in for a nurse visit to have the test placed and then return 48 hours later to have your test read.

Shingles Vaccine

• Ages 60-64, 1 dose

Also recommended, but not currently stocked in our office are the Hepatitis A and B vaccinations, the polio vaccine, MMR vaccine, and chickenpox vaccine. We recommend Kyle Public Health for great prices on these vaccines.

If you have had Hepatitis vaccines or have had chickenpox and would like a blood test for immunity, Dr Carney can order those tests for you at an office visit.

In addition to the vaccines mentioned above, there are several injections that Dr Carney stocks on a regular basis for relief of allergies, pain and nausea and for treatment of infections. Call today to schedule an appointment to discuss these with Dr Carney.
