Questions about the eMail Form Removal?
We are sorry to announce that we have had to remove the email form from off of our web site because patients were sending personal Medical Issues through the form despite our asking them not to.
The form was NOT HIPAA Compliant, and hence did NOT protect patient privacy, due to being sent through unsecured email. We asked our patients to NOT send any personal Medical information through this form but to no avail. Since we cannot reply by email to any Medical issues sent through this form we decided the best course of action is to remove the ability for patients to send requests this way. We request that all patient questions be asked by calling our office, during business hours, unless the call is about an emergency!

We are currently testing, and will be launching very soon, a secure patient web portal sometime which WILL allow for secure communications, viewing of lab results, appointment requests and more. |
