CrossFit has arrived in Buda. The CrossFit Hays facility opened in October of 2012 and is locally owned and managed by Wayne Hamilton who previously worked for CrossFit in Round Rock.

VRT Fitness specializes in body composition and overall health and fitness for both youth and adults. VRT offers “Boot Camp” sessions (group training classes) in four week intervals which provides personal training, but in a group environment. One-on-one personal training is also available. Training is provided at their location on FM 967, west of FM 1626.

Tai Chi is a "Soft Style" martial art that can be learned for self defense or simply as a way to increase strength, balance, relaxation and flexibility. Classes are taught by Sean Carney and are conducted at the AllMedPhysicians office every Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm.
